Surrendering an animal

**BEGINNING AUGUST 2024 ALL SURRENDERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE 4 HOURS OF VOLUNTEERING AT THE SHELTER BEFORE YOUR ANIMAL IS SURRENDERED. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Before choosing to surrender your animal, please make sure you have checked into any and all options. Haseya’s New Beginning does offer dog food, cat food, cat litter, and supplies to people who are struggling to keep their pets. Remember that your pet will be coming into a shelter atmosphere. Although we strive for the best care possible, your pet will be alone most of the day and be in a building full of other dogs, which can be quite scary. Please consider rehoming your pet or fostering your pet until we can make adoption or rescue transfers arrangements.  If none of these options help you, please fill out our surrender request form. Homeless animals are our top priority, so depending on room availability, it may take a couple of weeks or even months to be accepted.
